Interim Asbestos & Legionella Manager

Greenacre have been commissioned to assist a local authority in Surrey to recruit an Interim Asbestos & Legionella Manager on a temporary basis

• Responsible for the safety and compliance of housing buildings in alignment with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Water Safety - The control of legionella bacteria in water systems ACOP L8
• Lead the delivery and management of ACM & Legionella work programmes and associated remedial actions promptly as required.
• Managing the delivery of asbestos and legionella contracts
• Ensuring 100% compliance in both areas of asbestos and legionella
• Must have experience in managing either Asbestos or Legionella within the housing sector and willing to develop in other disciplines 
• This role isn’t managing staff directly but it will be managing the contractors to ensure customer safety / satisfaction, value for money and works completed within agreed timeframes
• 2 to 3 days a week in the office required on a weekly basis
